The Colette — Mikasa "French Chintz" Serving Platter
Somewhere, a table was set with this again and again — and it shows no signs of it. The Colette comes from Mikasa's Maxima line, the "Super Strong Fine China" of the late '80s and early '90s, in the French Chintz pattern: delicate pastel blossoms and trailing green vines scattered across a fluted ivory field, inspired by historic French fabric. Discontinued since 1996, the pattern is now sought by collectors completing their original sets — but she's just as lovely on her own, under a candle, beneath a stack of soaps, or doing exactly what she was made for.
Mikasa "French Chintz" (CAJ06), Japan, 1988–1996. Approx. [length]" x [width]". Oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe per original backstamp. Rim flawless; colors bright.
