The Winterberry — Milk Glass Miniature Oil Lamp, Plume & Atwood Burner

A miniature Victorian-style oil lamp in decorated milk glass — deep red florals over textured white — with its original brass burner by the Plume & Atwood Manufacturing Company of Waterbury, Connecticut, the most storied name in period lamp hardware. The P&A stamp is still crisp on the thumbwheel, confirming original period brass from their miniature "Nutmeg" line rather than reproduction parts.

Beautiful vintage condition: no chips, cracks, or fleabites to the glass, original clear chimney intact. The brass wears a lovely natural patina — left entirely unpolished — and the thumbwheel still advances the wick, if a bit begrudgingly after all these years. The kind of small piece that reads like an heirloom on a shelf, lit or not. From the Erie Shores house.
