The Duaflex spent her first life in Rochester, New York, and her last several years on a photographer’s shelf — Haley’s. Before the shop, she was the one behind the lens, and the cameras she collected along the way are finally ready for new shelves.
This one’s a Duaflex II, made between 1950 and 1954, built to give everyday families the look of a professional’s twin-lens camera. Everything still works: the shutter fires, the advance turns, the little I/B switch clicks between instant and bulb like it’s 1952. She comes with the scarcer Midget Flasholder — the slim AA version, not the bulky one — and an original blue Sylvania flashbulb, the kind made for the first color film. The battery compartment is spotless, which anyone who collects these will tell you almost never happens.
