Margot — Restored Harmony House Dresser + 1960s Broyhill Contour Nightstand
Some pieces just carry themselves differently.
Margot is a two-piece set — a mid-century Harmony House dresser and a 1960s Broyhill Contour nightstand — refinished together in a warm linen beige so they move through a room like they’ve always belonged to each other. They haven’t. But that’s the point.
The dresser wears her age in the best way: solid construction, smooth-gliding drawers, original hardware kept intact. The upper drawers were stripped to bare walnut and left natural — warm, grained, honest. The lower body painted in Driftwood by Country Chic Paint — a warm, weathered beige that settles into a room like it was always there.
The nightstand is the one that stops people. A 1960s Broyhill Contour piece — the carved center column is original, and entirely her own. Two deep drawers. Tapered legs. The kind of detail that doesn’t get made anymore.
Dresser: 45”H × 38”W × 18”D
Nightstand: 22.5”H × 24.6”W × 15”D
Both pieces refinished by hand. Staged with collected objects, some of which are available separately in The Becoming Collection.
