Patsy + June — sisters, not twins. A Korean tansu-style chest, all ornate brass butterfly hardware and joined panels, beside an American campaign nightstand with recessed brass pulls and burl-cloud accents. Different countries, different decades.
Both were cleaned and their brass hand-polished; nothing refinished, nothing altered. Together they flank a bed or sofa the way matched pairs never quite manage — related, not identical, each one interesting from across the room.
