Genevieve is the one who started it — the first piece we ever brought back, and the reason The Workshop exists.
She came to us worn and weary, legs failing, finish fighting us every step of the way. But underneath all of it, we could see who she was: a 1920s secretary cabinet with a Spanish-influenced stretcher base, a hand-painted floral medallion on the original glass door — done by someone's hand nearly a century ago — and solid plank construction that has outlasted nearly everything made since.
We reinforced her legs, painted her a warm, earthy brown, lined her drawers in botanical wallpaper, and let her keep every original detail worth keeping. She has a drop-front writing surface, a glass display cabinet, and storage below — a whole household's paperwork and treasures in one footprint.
Restored by our hands, ready for another hundred years.
39″ wide × 18″ deep × 64″ tall.
